Volver is a festival whose objetive is to raise visibility towards the problem of rural depopulation, whilst also a criticism towards a capitalist system that forces us to live fast-paced lives. Its tone of voice ranges between the melancholic, but also, the insurgent.

This topic is closely related to me at a personal level, as my mother’s side of the family directly encounters this problem in their hometown of rural Galicia. As a designer, I use my work whenever I can to express things that are valuable to me, as I am aware that every design choice is political.
