MAKRANA TYPEFACE

 Type designMakrana is the name of the city where the marble of the Taj Mahal building was sourced from. It is also a typeface designed inspired by the shapes of the Taj Mahal building in India. 

The goal of the project was to design a contemporary display type, with a slight Indian imprint. The typographic specimen was printed on fabrics, inspired by traditional Indian veils.
